Over the Mountain

Super white snow, golden mountains at sunset and fun with skiing, all the best in Crested Butte, Colorado. This experience was one much different to going to Europe or the Caribbean, this remote ski resort and small town just south of the mountain has friendly and a quaint atmosphere but lots of fun. The ski difficulty around the mountain varies from beginner kids to the extreme snowboarders, even on the same route! The first picture to the left is that of the Crested Butte mountain at noon with the evening sun just encompassing the top of the mountain. In the picture below is me just at the end of the first run watching the rest of my friends come speeding down the mountain with me. At the end of each run is the opening to the main camp which allow you to have that "ski in ski out" experience. Everyday we would get up to hit the slopes around 8 a. m. and finish with hot chocolate or cold drinks at 6 p.m. on the patio area outside the bar to watch the sunset over the mountain.
