This last weekend I took a trip to the Bahamas going to Nassau to see Atlantis and around the Exuma Islands for the beautiful beaches and crystal water. I took the trip on a 58ft Catamaran called Blue Horizon(above in Wadrick Wells with the boat in the bay). I am a traveler and this is my favorite place in the world because no water in the world looks like that in the Bahamas. When off I was always busy, either cleaning the boat; exploring islands on the dingy or snorkeling with the mass abundance of wildlife. The sea park reserved a snorkeling area called the Aquarium because of all the rare and beautiful fish that lived there it was like swimming in an aquarium. At Atlantis I was able to go on the Leap of Faith and mile long Lazy River along with the experience of the small town area, just outside the hotel, with neon green and pink houses and old quaint restaurants. At the end of the trip we were able to fly over all the islands and get amazing photos from the plane on some of the islands(above). This incredible trip was one not to forget.

ReplyDeleteThat seems interesting, maybe next summer when I go to Atlantis i can try out the mile long Lazy River and the Leap of Faith.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo's Bradley. Are there any places to rent diving equipment around there? I'm going to Atlantis over Spring Break.
ReplyDeleteThe small town area just outside the hotel in Atlantis has a dive shop and rental area but if you choose to go diving around the Caribbean it would be best to go down to the Keys for a better visibility and sea life. Bahamas is best for snorkeling and such along with the beaches.
